Wright County man stabbed to death; Flock cameras help catch person of interest

A 57-year-old man was found dead inside his home Thursday morning in Wright County as authorities arrested a person of interest using Flock cameras.

According to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded around 7:30 a.m. to a home in the 800 block of 9127 State Highway 25 NE, after receiving a 911 call reporting a dead man inside the residence.

When deputies arrived, they found the 57-year-old man dead with what appeared to be a stab wound, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities have not released the name of the victim.

Authorities said they quickly identified a person of interest and learned the individual may have been traveling to a residence in Cass County to harm another person.
