Doorbell camera captures Montana woman’s close encounter with a mother moose.

WASHINGTON — A Montana woman let her three dogs out in her backyard, not knowing that a moose and her baby were waiting for them outside. Her Ring doorbell camera captured the entire encounter.

Shelly Thorburn noticed immediately that the two moose were visiting and tried yelling to get them to go away.

"And it was probably like 20 seconds," Thorburn told CNN. "And then I looked around the side of the house, and it was mama moose coming, running as fast as she could with her ears pinned back. And making these kind of grunting noises."

Two of her dogs ran away, but her 14-year-old hearing- and visually impaired dog seemed unaware of what was happening.
