MINNEAPOLIS — After a mass shooting left three people dead and multiple others injured at an apartment complex in Minneapolis, the Uvalde Foundation for Kids is launching efforts to support anyone who was affected.

Investigators say the shooter, Carlton Johnson II, shot a woman during a custody exchange on Wednesday. Then, Johnson went into the apartment building lobby and shot two employees and two residents on the ninth floor. Both residents died.
