The Vikings have spent much of the season playing from the front, but quarterback Kyler Murray knows Sunday’s trip to Detroit will present one of the team’s toughest challenges yet.
Speaking Thursday, Murray described the matchup against the Lions as a major test against a team loaded with talent and playing in one of the league’s toughest environments.
“It’s going to be a dogfight,” Murray said. “We’re expecting that. Hostile environment. Really good players. Really good defense. Obviously, we’re prepared for it. We’ve had a good week of practice, obviously we’ve got to finish it out. But I’m excited for the opportunity that we have on Sunday to go in there against a great team.”
