Medicaid Fraud Control Unit agents executed search warrants at several sites on Thursday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Officials confirmed that one of the raids took place at a St. Louis Park business and it included law enforcement with the HHS-OIG, U.S. Postal Inspectors, IRS-CI, BCA, FBI, the U.S. Department of Health and the Human Services Office of Inspector General.
It is unclear exactly where the other raids took place.
A spokesperson for Attorney General Keith Ellison’s office said more information is expected soon.
The FBI told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that this is an active investigation.
