Voters in Minnesota will see one constitutional amendment on the ballot this year concerning school funding.

The question will ask voters whether the Minnesota Constitution should be amended to increase the funding going to all school districts from the permanent school fund effective July 1, 2027.

Under current law, 2.5% of the fund goes to schools every year. The proposed amendment would change that to 4.5%.
