A Minneapolis man died after an early Friday crash in Scott County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened around 2 a.m. in Shakopee. Authorities said a Nissan Rogue was on the right shoulder of Highway 169 southbound near County Road 21.
State Patrol said the driver exited the SUV when a BMW X5 traveling southbound struck him.
Authorities identified the driver as 48-year-old Abdulahi Siad of Minneapolis. Three other passengers were in the car and were not injured.
The driver of the BMW X5 was not injured.
State Patrol said conditions were dry at the time of the crash and alcohol was not a factor.
