UNIVERSAL CITY, Texas — DNA from a beer can led to the arrest of a man authorities believe is responsible for a 1981 murder in Texas, according to an arrest affidavit.
Kelly Lee Brower was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with the death of 23-year-old Yolanda Herrera.
Investigators said that Herrera was last seen on April 11, 1981, leaving Johnny's Inn, a bar in Universal City, Texas. She was believed to be headed home in the early hours of the morning.
