Dale "Greybeard" Sanders first completed the intense, nearly 2,200-mile hike and claimed the same title in 2017 at age 82. At 11:45 a.m. Aug. 31, he completed the hike again and reclaimed his title from 83-year-old MJ “Sunny” Eberhart, also known in the outdoor community as Nimblewill Nomad.
